Tourist attractions in and around Aviemore and the Cairngorms
For kids:
The Landmark
centre in Carrbridge (7 Miles North of Aviemore) has
a huge amount of facilities for kids, there is enough things
to do that you could easily spend the whole day there. With
Microworld (Where you can see small things, bacteria's etc
through Microscopes), the Water Coaster, Adventure land,
the Red Squirrel trail and more, you're not going to get
bored quick and the kids will love it.
The new leisure
arena at the new Aviemore Highland Resort has a large
swimming pool and flume, as well as health suite and cafe.
Whilst at the Aviemore Highland Resort, why not try some
grass sledging, on the resort complex. More

For Adults:
With its auditorium seating up to 180 people, Waltzing
Waters in Newtonmore is a must for those over 50 and
children. With elaborate water fountains with sound, light
and music, Waltzing waters should be part of the tourist
trail to and from Aviemore.
Loch Insh, between Aviemore and Kingussie, has chalets,
apartments and a bunk house to stay in, a loch with water
sports activities such as windsurfing and sailing, and other
sports such as archery. Loch
