Valley golf course vision for the future
The Spey Valley Golf course is most likely one of the best golf courses in Scotland. With major events planned such as the Northern Open which will run from the 25th to the 29th of May (Which will host 139 professional golfers), and the European Challenge Tour (See Colin Montgomery's article) from July the 30th to August the 2nd 2009, the Spey Valley golf course seems set for a good future.
Fees for the Aviemore Spey Valley course have been hugely reduced from £490 to £390 pper year, with the aim of enticing local golfers to the course, given the status of the course, the fees are now very competitive (Excuse the pun, not intended!).
The Aviemore Spey Valley Golf course has been opened for only 2 and a half seasons, yet its popularity is growing despite the UK economic climate.
